Iowa Aftercare Services Network

The Iowa Aftercare Services Network is a statewide initiative funded  Department of Human Services in response to the Chafee Foster Care Independence Act of 1999 to address the needs of young adults who have aged-out of foster care.  Assistance is available for eligible young adults at least 18 years old but not yet 21 who are residents of Iowa.

Twelve human service agencies collaborate to form the Network so local agencies can deliver services to young adults in each of Iowa's 99 counties.
